Personal Style: An Old Handmade Dress

I had this dress custom made when I was in junior high school in Ghana. I sketched the design and had the tailor make it for me. But he didn't finish off the bottom the way I wanted it so I altered that part with a needle and thread...I was partly too shy, and partly too polite to ask him to redo it. I've a feeling it's going to stay with me for a very long time.
